Objectives of the Course

Teaching alternative firing methods, introducing the materials and oven types used in these methods, evaluating the stages of firing techniques and preparing the results for exhibition.

Course Content

Giving information about alternative firing methods, oven types used in these firings, smoky firings, equipment and materials used and safety precautions to be taken during application.

1.Recognizes alternative firing methods and equipments used in these firings.
2.Recognizes glaze, lining, obvara recipes and various organic combustible materials to be used in alternative firing.
3.Knows how to design products for angi firing technique and how to produce designs.
4.Apply firing techniques.
5.Has knowledge about the safety precautions to be taken in the applications of alternative firing techniques.
