The object of this course is to inform the students on the subjects of the basic features and the usage areas of the structural materials (such as rocks, woods, metal, concrete, reinforced concrete, plastic, glass, connecters and preservers) used in the studies of landscape architecture
The contents of this course are the materials used in the implementations of Landscape Architecture; the features and the usage areas of the basic materials such as rocks, clay, backed soil, wood, metal, glass, plastic, concrete, aggregate and connecters are analysed.
| 1. | To have the ability to recognize and select the materials used in landscape architecture projects |
| 2. | To be able to acquire the skill of forming realistic designs by learning the information on materials related to the structural elements in the projects of Landscape Architecture |
| 3. | To be able to acquire the skill of associating the equipment elements designed in the studies of Landscape Architecture projects with the materials which can be used in their constructions |
| 4. | To be able to have a foresight in forming the functional and aesthetic approaches together in terms of materials used in the structural designs of Landscape Architecture |
| 5. | To be able to acquire the ability of access to the variation of designs by exploring the companies which produce the materials used in structural landscape elements and their constructions |
