Objectives of the Course

The objects of this course is to introduce the students to the computer-aided drawing programmes, to help them acquire the skill of using a computer at the studies of landscape architecture , to help them develop their skills by teaching basic commands and the two-dimensional drawing studies these commands are used in and demonstrating exemplary applications

Course Content

The contents of this course are; AutoCAD (two-dimensional), which is a kind of CAD (Computer Aided Design) software used in visualising the design projects in landscape architecture, and Photoshop programmes

1.To be able to apprehend the contributions of the computer aided drawing programmes to the dimension of landscape design
2.To be able to coprehend the visual approaches of the computer drawings which can be necessary in the landscape project studies and to be aware of the concept of project scale on screen
3.To be able to acquire the computer aided presentation techniques which can contribute to the landscape project presentation studies
4.To be able to develop the ability of modern and technical vocational experience by practicing computer usage
5.To be able to acquire the ability of tracing the technical developments in computer throughout the years
