This course aims to introduce the fundamental concepts of the communication field and communication science, to demonstrate the differences and similarities between communication discipline and other social sciences, and to discuss different levels of communication such as interpersonal communication, group communication, and mass communication.
The course covers factors influencing communication, elements of communication, communication models, necessary components for communication, types of communication, mass communication, mass media, factors determining communication quality, mass communication theories, and body language.
