The aim of this course is to enable students to master the basic rules of the game by correctly learning the chessboard, pieces, and their movements. By the end of the training, students will have grasped basic checkmate patterns, simple tactics, and opening principles, enabling them to play a conscious and rule-abiding chess match. The course also aims to develop students' strategic thinking skills.
The course covers the chessboard, pieces, tournament rules, and notation. Basic concepts, win/draw situations, the concept of checkmate, basic checkmates, and sections of the game are explained.
