The aim of this course is to teach the students to survey the quantities of the productions used in structural and botanic landscape implementations and to teach how to use the unit price scales in order to calculate the free market costs and the application expenditures to introduce the procedures such as exploration reports, auctions, progress billing, attachments, temporary and certain acceptances.
Introduction to the methods of preparing the expenditure costs, quantity surveys, cost estimates and converting these into proposal and auction files for the projects made in the course.
| 1. | Being able to understand and apply the procedures aimed to calculate the production expenditures such as cost estimate, survey of quantities, progress billing and auctions used in structural and botanic landscape implementations. |
| 2. | Being able to prepare the quantity surveys related to the structural and botanic implementations in the application of landscape projects. |
| 3. | Being able to prepare the application costs related to the structural and botanic implementations in the application of landscape projects. |
| 4. | By multiplying the quantities obtained from the quantity surveying table with the unit prices, he/she prepares the first (approximate cost) and second (final cost) tables of the project without errors. He/she calculates the total construction cost and budget of the project. |
| 5. | The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change recognizes and uses the current landscape and construction unit price lists published by official institutions such as the Provincial Bank and the General Directorate of Forestry. |
