Objectives of the Course

The understanding of the importance of the plants which are staff of the alive equipment, realizing the planting desing components, which are composed of point, line, shape, tissue and colour, with different plants and planting desing examples. Also, semtinizing the planting design principles such as repetition, balance.

Course Content

The importance of plantal design in the dicipline of profession of landscape architecture, planting design components, planting design principles, functional usage of plants, process of the planting design.

1.To be able to understant the importance of both plants and plantin design in landscape architecture.
2.To be able to identify and classification of design(landscaping).
3.To be able to find out the components of planting design.
4.To be able to examine planting design.
5.To be able to understand the usage of functional plant with different examples.
6.To be able to understand using and the aesthetic features of planting design.
7.To be able to realize the functional operations and usage of plants.
8.To be able to realize the process of planting design and gain the ability of performing.
9.To be able to gain the enough sufficiency of functional usage of planting materials in the light of design components and principles.
10.To be able to gain enough sufficieny of selecting the right plant in problem-ridding areas.
