Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course is to teach students the fundamental concepts of finance and to develop financial awareness. The course covers topics such as spending, consumption, investment, saving, borrowing, and money management. It aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed, accurate, and rational financial decisions both in their daily lives and in their professional careers.

Course Content

The characteristics and history of money; the concepts of banks and banking; banking products and services; spending, consumption, investment, debt, and credit management; economic indicators, the basic principles of finance, market types, money and capital markets; and the global financial system.
