Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to introduce classical banking and provide information about banking products and the correct/beneficial use of these products. In addition, by introducing participation banking, it aims to teach the differences between classical banking and participation banking and to introduce the products of participation banking.

Course Content

Bank and Banking Concepts, Historical Development of Banking in the World and in Turkey, Organizations Regulating and Supervising the Banking Sector, Basic Banking Services and Products, Money Transfer Services in Banking, Bank Cards and Their Use, Loan Demand in Banks and Evaluation of Loan Requests, Types of Banks, Participation Banking and Historical Development, Participation Banking Services and Products, Electronic Banking, Fintechs.
