The aim of this course is; The aim of the course is to teach the historical development of money from ancient times to the present, to introduce the elements used instead of money before money, to teach the types of money, to explain the development of the payment system and to give information about money management.
Definition of Money and Related Concepts, Historical Development of Money, Barter Money, Commodity Money, Weighing Money, Coins and Paper Money, Virtual Money, Characteristics and Functions of Money, Development of Payments System, Money Management, Determination of Financial Asset Prices, Determination of Money Supply and Money Market Balance, Monetary Policy Regimes, Objectives and Tools of Monetary Policy.
