The aim of this course is to examine the architectural, technological, cultural, and urban characteristics of iconic buildings produced in the post-modern era and enable students to understand the evolution of contemporary architecture while developing a critical appreciation of architectural culture.
This course examines iconic buildings of the post-modern and contemporary period in chronological order, focusing on architectural concepts, construction technologies, sustainability, urban context and their contribution to architectural culture.
