The aim of this course is to teach students the history, general characteristics, taxonomy, active ingredients, uses, and cultivation techniques of medicinal and dye plants. It also aims to provide practical skills through laboratory and field applications.
This course covers the taxonomic characteristics of medicinal and dye plants, the secondary metabolites they contain, and the applications of these compounds in human health and industry, at both theoretical and practical levels.
