The objective of this course is to provide students with the fundamental knowledge and skills regarding the planning, establishment, and sustainable management of leisure gardens; and to raise awareness about crop production, maintenance practices, and eco-friendly gardening approaches.
Definition, development, and importance of leisure gardening; planning and site selection for leisure gardens; soil preparation and growing media; cultivation of vegetables, fruits, ornamental and aromatic plants; irrigation, fertilization, and maintenance practices; plant disease and pest management; composting; sustainable gardening practices and environmental contributions of leisure gardens.

| 2. | Applies the basic principles of site selection, area planning, soil preparation, and growing media management in leisure gardens. |
| 3. | Conducts the cultivation, irrigation, fertilization, and general maintenance practices of vegetables, fruits, ornamental, and aromatic plants in leisure gardens. |

| 5. | Performs plant propagation practices using seed, cutting, layering, and grafting methods for the sustainability of crop production in leisure gardens. |
