Objectives of the Course

Elderly and tutor required to develop their interests Amas made by mental situation of the patient

Course Content

This course covers theoretical knowledge aimed at improving the quality of life for elderly individuals. It begins with the definition of occupational therapy and its importance for older adults. Topics such as active aging, physical and mental activities, and daily living skills are addressed to support the maintenance of functional independence in the elderly. Additionally, social and environmental factors, including artistic activities, outdoor activities, and architectural arrangements, are also evaluated.

1.Defines occupational therapy and explains its importance in elderly individuals.
2.Describes occupational therapy practices that will support active aging of older individuals.
3.Evaluates the effects of physical and mental activities on the quality of life of elderly individuals.
4.Plans appropriate activities to improve the daily living activities of older individuals.
5.Explains the effects of psychomotor and respiratory activities on elderly health.
6.Explains the contribution of appropriate indoor and outdoor arrangements to the physical and psychological well-being of elderly individuals.
7.Implement and evaluate artistic, cultural and group-based activities that support social participation in older individuals.
