The purpose of this course is to provide students with a general understanding of university life; to familiarize them with the laws, regulations, and guidelines related to university life; to provide them with an understanding of national and international educational opportunities; to introduce them to the university's administrative and service units; and to encourage student participation in various scientific, cultural, artistic, and athletic activities. It also aims to equip students with individual time management, stress management skills, and motivational techniques.
This course covers topics such as an introduction to Aydın Adnan Menderes University, Aydın and Nazilli districts, university-based units such as the library, health, culture, and sports centers, student clubs, arts and science clubs, national and international opportunities and educational matters at the university, exchange programs, scholarships and loans, regulations regarding student affairs and exams, basic protocol, job interviews, interview techniques, and petition writing. It also addresses topics such as time and stress management and motivational resources.
