1.Explains the definition, historical development and interdisciplinary position of health sociology.
2.Evaluates the concepts of health and illness from a sociological perspective and relates them to daily life.
3.Analyzes the social determinants of health and explains the social factors that affect an individual's health status.
4.Evaluates patient-staff relations in health services from a sociological perspective.
5.Analyzes the effects of issues such as aging, culture, globalization and inequality on health.
