Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to raise the awareness of university students about themselves, the outside world and life, increasing the state of consciousness, making one realize the moment and moving away from virtual perception, perceiving real life to increase cognitively, emotionally, physically and spiritually. In addition, family is important in character development and education. environment and school; definition and classification of values; sources of values ??and individual, social, cultural, religious and moral foundations; Intercultural differentiation and coexistence culture in character and value education is intended to be learned.

Course Content

In this course, the definition and comprehension of Awareness, knowing, perceiving and existing oneself and the outside world. Issues of increasing awareness over acquired patterns will be discussed.

Learning Outcomes
1.Defines fundamental concepts such as value, virtue, morality, personality, and character, and analyzes the relationships among these concepts.
2.Explains the concept of awareness in individual, social, and environmental contexts; integrates this concept into elderly care processes.
3.Evaluates the values crisis encountered in modern and multicultural societies and develops awareness in ethical decision-making processes.
4.Applies character and values education within the framework of communication, empathy, and a culture of coexistence to establish effective communication with elderly individuals.
5.Gains insight into individual priorities, biases, and virtual awareness, developing ethical and cultural sensitivity in professional practice.
