Objectives of the Course

Holistic evaluation of patients in care problems due to chronic diseases in geriatric patients. Taking protective measures in geropsychiatric emergencies such as behavioral symptoms of delirium and dementia, suicide, depression, abuse and neglect of the elderly patient, which are common in these patients. In addition, teaching care plans for these patients

Geriatric holistic assessment, Approach and care in mental status changes, Common symptoms and care interventions in geriatrics, drug intoxication and polypharmacy, health problems that may develop due to infections in the elderly, common emergencies in nursing homes, Ethical problems in geriatric emergencies
