Objectives of the Course

The aim is to examine and discuss economic policy, which is the set of policies that include the steps to be followed in order to achieve macroeconomic equilibrium, and to identify and discuss its tools.

Course Content

How can growth be accelerated? How can unemployment be combated? How can inflation be reduced? How can the current account and budget deficits be closed? How can public borrowing be reduced? How can investments be increased? These and similar questions are discussed within the framework of proposed solutions for economic policies, primarily monetary and fiscal policies, aimed at achieving macroeconomic balance.
