This course aims to equip students with the ability to manage business financial resources effectively and efficiently. By learning about financial decision-making processes, fundamental financial concepts, budgeting, capital budgeting, financial analysis, and risk management, students acquire the competencies to contribute to the achievement of businesses' financial goals.
This course covers the fundamental principles of financial management, short- and long-term financial decision-making in businesses, financial statement analysis, cash flow management, capital budgeting, and sources of financing. Students learn to evaluate business performance using financial ratios, analyze investment projects, and understand the risk-return relationship. Supplemented by real-world corporate financial statements, Excel applications, and case studies alongside theoretical knowledge, the course aims to equip students with practical skills in the field of financial management.
