Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the fundamental concepts and contemporary approaches to organizational behavior, develop their ability to analyze the psychological and organizational factors influencing individual and group behavior, and enable them to evaluate organizational culture, leadership, motivation, employee participation, organizational stress, and conflict in order to support effective management practices.

Course Content

This course covers the fundamental concepts and contemporary approaches to organizational behavior; perception and attribution processes; beliefs, attitudes, motives, and learning; groups and group behavior in organizations; organizational culture; attitudes toward change and innovation; monotony; absenteeism and organizational stress; management approaches in organizations; employee participation; leadership; motivation and morale; and organizational conflict.

1.Explains the basic concepts and scope of organizational behavior.
2.Analyzes factors affecting individual behavior, such as personality, perception, attitudes, and values.
3.Evaluates group behavior, teamwork, and group dynamics.
4.Interprets organizational culture, motivation, conflict, power, and organizational politics in the context of working life.
5.Applies organizational behavior theories to workplace case studies and develops solution proposals.
