Objectives of the Course

To equip students with the knowledge and skills to understand the fundamental principles, processes, and practices of production management, analyze production systems, and evaluate production management decision-making processes.

Course Content

This course covers the concept of systems and the systems approach, the fundamental concepts of production and production management, the classification and comparison of production systems, production decisions and organization, product design and process planning, capacity planning, and facility location.
