Objectives of the Course

This course covers supply chain concepts, strategies, and decision-making processes. It aims to develop academic and professional competencies in the design, planning, and optimization of logistics and supply chain networks.

Course Content

It covers the concepts of supply chain and decision stages, sustainable supply chain, network design and demand forecasting, supply chain members and competitive strategies, production, inventory, transportation, and distribution functions, supply chain planning and coordination, the role of information technologies, performance measurement and financial analyses, and risk management.

Learning Outcomes
1.Acquires fundamental professional knowledge and awareness regarding logistics processes by explaining the concepts, functions, and key components of supply chain management.
2.It analyzes the internal and external stakeholders within the supply chain and the interactions between logistics functions, linking them to real-world business practices.
3.It identifies and analyzes problems encountered in demand forecasting, inventory management, procurement, and distribution processes, and develops proposed solutions.
4.In line with the applications, students will have knowledge and experience in key issues such as learning, managing, analyzing, decision making, strategy and system development in a practical way in business structure and main concepts.
5.It contributes to sectoral decision-making processes by evaluating sustainable supply chain approaches, ethical principles, and the role of information technologies.
