This course aims to help businesses adopt sustainability principles, implement green economy approaches, and develop responsible management skills across environmental, social, and economic dimensions. By understanding the global sustainability agenda, green business models, and strategies for reducing a company’s carbon footprint, students will gain the ability to create a sustainable competitive advantage.
The concept of sustainability in business encompasses topics such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, green economy models, the circular economy, carbon management, green supply chains, ethics and social responsibility, sustainable finance, green marketing, environmental reporting, and climate change adaptation strategies.
