Objectives of the Course

The objective of this course is to enable students to comprehend the usage areas, opportunities, limitations, and ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence technologies in the field of public relations; and to equip them with the ability to effectively use AI-supported tools in corporate communication, media relations, crisis communication, content creation, target audience analysis, and reputation management processes.

Course Content

Within the scope of this course, the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence technologies and their applications in the field of public relations and corporate communication are examined. Throughout the course, generative AI systems, text and image generation tools, media monitoring systems, sentiment analysis applications, target audience segmentation, social media management, crisis communication, reputation management, and data-driven communication strategies are discussed. Furthermore, the ethical, legal, and professional dimensions of AI usage are evaluated, aiming for students to practically use current communication technologies.
