Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to become familiar with current digital health technologies used in healthcare services, including electronic health record systems, ambulance information management systems, telehealth applications, mobile health solutions, and artificial intelligence–supported decision systems. The course aims to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for the effective, safe, and ethical use of digital technologies in emergency healthcare services. In addition, it seeks to develop students’ awareness of health data management, patient privacy, data security, and digital transformation processes, and to enhance their ability to utilize digital technologies in professional practice.

Course Content

The main topics of this course include the concept of digital health, health informatics, health information systems, electronic health records, e-Nabız applications, ambulance information management systems, telehealth and tele-triage applications, mobile health technologies, artificial intelligence–supported decision systems, wearable health technologies, remote patient monitoring systems, health data management, data security, protection of personal data, ethical and legal responsibilities in digital health, and digital transformation processes in emergency healthcare services.
