Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to use social media and digital marketing tools to promote real estate portfolios, find customers, and build brands.

The course covers social media, digital marketing, target audience, content strategy, real estate content production, social media advertising, listing optimization, websites, SEO, digital reputation, performance measurement, ethics, and legal responsibilities.

Week 1 - Theoretical
Introduction to Social Media and Digital Marketing: Social media, digital marketing, online customer behavior, and the importance of digital visibility for the real estate sector are explained.
Week 2 - Theoretical
Basic Concepts of Digital Marketing: Concepts such as target audience, brand awareness, reach, engagement, conversion, content, advertising, and the digital marketing funnel are discussed.
Week 3 - Theoretical
Social Media Platforms and Their Uses: The roles of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms in real estate promotion, customer acquisition, and brand building are explained.
Week 4 - Theoretical
Target Audience and Customer Profile Analysis: The digital behaviors and expectations of buyers, sellers, tenants, investors, landowners, and commercial real estate clients are examined.
Week 5 - Theoretical
Content Strategy and Content Planning: Preparing a content calendar, posting frequency, content types, and creating key messages for a real estate office or agent are explained.
Week 6 - Theoretical
Real Estate Content Creation Techniques: Portfolio promotion, neighborhood introduction, short videos, photos, customer information content, investment suggestions, and trust-building content are discussed.

Social Media Content Practice: Students are asked to prepare a social media post, short description, and visual content idea for a sample property for sale or rent.

Introduction to Digital Advertising: Social media ads, search engine ads, targeting, budgeting, ad copy, and campaign objectives are explained.

Digital Marketing of Real Estate Listings: Listing titles, descriptions, use of photos and videos, location emphasis, price information, and digital listing optimization are discussed.

Website, SEO, and Online Visibility: Real estate office websites, search engine optimization, blog content, local search results, and online discoverability are explained.

Digital Reputation and Brand Management: Customer reviews, references, trust perception, agent branding, corporate image, and online reputation management are examined.
