Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to prepare and deliver effective, persuasive, and visually strong presentations in professional life.

Course Content

The course covers presentation types, presentation planning, audience analysis, content preparation, slide design, verbal delivery, body language, persuasion techniques, data, chart and map presentation, digital presentation tools, and Q&A management.

Weekly Detailed Course Contents
Week 1 - Theoretical
Introduction to Effective Presentation Techniques: The concept of presentation, effective communication, the purpose of presentations, delivering messages to the audience, and the importance of presentation skills in professional life are explained.
Week 2 - Theoretical
Types and Uses of Presentations: Informative, persuasive, educational, promotional, and sales-oriented presentations are discussed through real estate sector examples.
Week 3 - Theoretical
Presentation Planning Process: Defining the purpose of the presentation, audience analysis, time planning, creating the main message, and preparing content flow are explained.
Week 4 - Theoretical
Preparing Presentation Content: Introduction, body, and conclusion sections; topic selection, headings, use of examples, data, and visual support in content creation are explained.
Week 5 - Theoretical
Visual Design and Slide Preparation: Slide layout, fonts, colors, use of visuals, tables, charts, maps, and effective presentation of real estate portfolio images are discussed.
Week 6 - Theoretical
Verbal Delivery and Body Language: The effects of tone of voice, emphasis, pace, pauses, eye contact, posture, gestures, and facial expressions on presentations are explained.
Week 7 - Practice
Short Presentation Practice: Students are asked to deliver a short presentation on a real estate portfolio, project, neighborhood introduction, or customer information topic.
Week 8 - Theoretical
Persuasive Presentation Techniques: Methods of influencing the audience, building trust, presenting evidence, emphasizing benefits, handling objections, and supporting decision-making are explained.
Week 9 - Theoretical
Real Estate Portfolio and Project Presentation: Presenting housing, land, commercial property, or investment projects together with location, price, zoning, building features, and investment potential is discussed.
Week 10 - Theoretical
Use of Data, Charts, and Maps: The effective use of sales prices, rental values, comparative data, location maps, transportation, and environmental analyses in presentations is explained.
Week 11 - Theoretical
Technology and Digital Tools in Presentations: PowerPoint, Canva, Google Slides, AI-supported content creation, video, animation, and online presentation tools are introduced.
Week 12 - Theoretical
Audience Interaction and Q&A Management: Attracting attention during presentations, receiving questions, answering difficult questions, managing criticism, and establishing professional communication are covered.
Week 13 - Theoretical
Presentation Anxiety and Professional Presence: Controlling anxiety, preparation, rehearsal, building self-confidence, managing mistakes, and professional appearance are emphasized.
Week 14 - Theoretical
General Review and Practical Final Presentation: The semester topics are reviewed; students are asked to deliver an effective presentation on a sample real estate portfolio, investment project, or neighborhood analysis.
