Objectives of the Course

To make the students know the meaning of quality in healthcare, how to measure and improve quality. It is the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and application competencies of the applications of Quality Management Systems in the field of health.

Course Content

The concept of quality, theorists and theories, the applicability of the theory to health services, the emphasis of scientific methods and continuous quality improvement principles in determining the needs of the society and patients and putting forward recommendations, discussing the differences between statistical quality control, quality assurance systems, continuous quality improvement and total quality management. Discussing performance evaluation methods for improving infrastructure, processes and outputs in health services in teamwork, taking into account their wishes and needs.
