To help the student to develop critical thinking, critical reading, writing and discussion skills and to consider critical thinking in decision making.
This course covers the fundamental concepts, mental processes, and affective dimensions of critical thinking. Students will develop their skills in recognizing and evaluating arguments, and analyzing deductive and inductive reasoning. Obstacles to critical thinking, principles of validity and robustness, and macro skills will be examined.
