The aim of this course is to teach the legal relationships arising in the provision of healthcare services, patient rights, physicians' responsibilities, the legality of medical interventions, and criminal liability in the healthcare field. Students are expected to gain the ability to interpret and apply healthcare law legislation.
Introduction to Health Law, Basic Concepts in Health Law, Patient Rights, Obligations of the Physician, Conditions for Legal Compliance of Medical Intervention, Structure of Turkish Health Legislation, Legal Nature of Medical Interventions, Power of Attorney Agreement between Physician and Patient and Responsibilities of the Physician, Obligation to Inform and Its Validity in Medical Procedures, Concept and Validity of Consent in Medical Procedures, Obligation of the Physician to Keep Secrets and Keep Records, Corporate Liability in Terms of Medical Organizational Fault, Organ and Tissue Transplantation, Evaluation of Health Law in Terms of Criminal Law
