Objectives of the Course

Definition of pests and diseases on vegetables, fruit trees and vineyards, their symptoms, life cycles and control will be explained.

Course Content

The definition of fruits and vegetables diseases, their prevalence, their biology and bio-acology, their control methods. The definition of fruits and vegetables pests (nematodes, acarina and insects)biology, harm and control. Visual diagnosis of typical symptoms of pathogens and harmful insects on vegetables, fruit trees and vineyards in our country, their life cycles and control methods, , laboratory diagnosis of harmful insects and diseased plants
