Learning Outcomes
.Explains the objectives, principles, standards, and scientific process skills of science and mathematics teaching in early childhood education.
.Plans and implements science experiments and nature activities appropriate for scientific domains and environmental literacy that support preschool children's sense of curiosity and discovery.
.Designs age-appropriate mathematics activities directed towards pre-number concepts, numbers, basic operations, geometry, measurement, and graphing processes.
.Develops STEM/STREAM applications appropriate for the early childhood level that integrate science and mathematics outcomes with engineering and art disciplines.
.Produces science and mathematics educational materials appropriate for children's developmental needs and evaluates the pedagogical effectiveness of these materials through presentations.
