The objective of this course is to emphasize the importance of recreational activities in child development and to provide students with the skills to design, manage, and implement safe, educational, and entertaining recreational areas and play programs tailored to children's age, development, and special needs.
This course covers the concept of recreation and its relationship with child development, structural and safety characteristics of play and recreational areas, indoor and outdoor playground design, management of children's clubs in thematic areas such as hospitals, hotels, and shopping malls, animation and event planning, and inclusive recreational practices for children with special needs.
