The objective of this course is to introduce the core concepts and systems of ethical and moral philosophy; and to provide students with the competence to resolve ethical dilemmas in the workplace and fulfill legal and ethical responsibilities within the framework of child development professional definitions, legislation, and teacher professional ethics.
Concepts of ethics and morals, ethical systems, professional terminology and legislation in child development, teacher professional ethics, ethical leadership and profiles in the workplace, children's rights, ethical responsibilities in child abuse and neglect, professional corruption, and case analyses.
