he aim of this course is to enable students to analyze investment instruments, risk-return relationships, portfolio diversification, and global investment strategies in international financial markets. Within the scope of the course, students are expected to evaluate international equities, bonds, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, foreign exchange markets, commodities, and alternative investment instruments comparatively. The course also focuses on helping students understand global market risks, exchange rate risk, country risk, political risks, and the importance of international diversification in portfolio management. By the end of the course, students will be able to evaluate international investment decisions based on financial analysis, macroeconomic indicators, and portfolio management principles.
This course covers the structure of international financial markets, global investment instruments, risk and return analysis, international portfolio diversification, exchange rate risk, country risk, global equity and bond markets, mutual funds, ETFs, commodities, alternative investments, portfolio performance measurement, and sustainable investment strategies. Throughout the course, students learn how to compare financial markets across countries, analyze the performance of international investment instruments, evaluate portfolio risk and return, and develop global investment strategies.
