Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to experience academic and professional practice processes under the supervision of academic staff. Throughout the course, students will gain applied experience in literature review, source organization, data collection, data organization, supporting basic analysis processes, academic support and guided question-solving practices, preparing short reports, developing presentation materials, academic work discipline, and ethical responsibilities. This course provides the foundation for more comprehensive applied research, external stakeholder interaction, and reporting processes to be conducted within the scope of Practical Economics Workshop and Career Mentorship II.

Course Content

Practical Economics Workshop and Career Mentorship I aims to involve students in academic production and applied practice processes in a structured and supervised manner. The course covers task definition, work planning, literature review, reference organization, data collection, data preparation, support for basic analysis processes, academic support and guided question-solving practices, short reporting, presentation preparation, receiving feedback, and ethical principles.
