Objectives of the Course

The aim is for students to learn the basic principles of biomechanics, understand the physical foundations of human movement, evaluate the mechanics of the musculoskeletal system, and relate these concepts to clinical applications.

Course Content

At the end of this section, the student will learn the principles of statics and dynamics, musculoskeletal system mechanics, bone and soft tissue biomechanics, and the mechanical interactions of biomedical implants.
