Objectives of the Course

To understand the historical journey of medicine from its emergence in human history to the present day. To comprehend the history of the medical profession and the scope of medical practice, and to learn a holistic approach.

Course Content

To enable students to synthesize the history of medicine by learning about it across all civilizations, from the birth of medicine to contemporary approaches. In particular, to help students view medical practices around the world from the perspective of Anatolian society.
