Objectives of the Course

The aim of this board is to provide students with detailed information about intracellular metabolic mechanisms as a continuation of the previous board, to learn the concept of tissue formed by cells that are similar in shape and structure, and also to examine the skeletal system anatomically.

Course Content

Learning the basic subjects in histology.

Learning Outcomes
1.Explains the fundamental steps of protein, lipid, and carbohydrate metabolism.
2.Evaluates protein synthesis and intracellular protein utilization processes.
3.Distinguishes the fundamental characteristics of chromosomes, mutations, and genetic abnormalities.
4.Explains the mechanisms of intercellular interactions.
5.Distinguishes the basic tissue types and their processes of formation.
6.Evaluates the basic characteristics of epithelial, connective, blood, and nervous tissues.
7.Distinguishes basic tissue types using a microscope.
8.Distinguishes the basic anatomical structures of the skeletal system.
9.Evaluates the basic principles of ultrasonography and imaging methods that use ionizing and non-ionizing radiation.
10.Defines the harmful effects of ionizing radiation on tissues and evaluates the damage it causes.
