The main aim of the course is; To recognize family and child culture, to have knowledge about family and child in Turkish culture from past to present, to examine what kind of changes childhood has experienced, to assimilate child-family-society relationship in social and cultural context. Also with this course; To individuals who will specialize in early childhood education; It is aimed to give a perspective on conceptualization of childhood.
Definition of culture; education and culture relationship; culture in child development and education; Development and features of Turkish culture; Child in Turkish culture; The place and value of the child in Turkish society and family, child education, features and elements in Turkish culture from past to present will be covered.
