Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to make students aware of the importance of recognizing the child and to use the techniques to recognize the child effectively.

Course Content

The purpose and importance of recognizing the child; recognition of children from different perspectives, principles of recognition of children, techniques and features used in recognizing children (observation, event registration, individual interview, home visits); tests used in early childhood (development tests, projective tests, intelligence tests); recognition through play and painting; portfolio (development file) and documentation
