The purpose of this course is to determine children’s appropriate and inappropriate behaviors, learn techniques to support positive behaviors and extinguish negative behaviors, and prepare home and school environments that are supportive of positive behaviors.
Determining children’s appropriate and inappropriate behaviors, learning techniques to support positive behaviors and extinguish negative behaviors, teacher and parent attitudes in behavior management, preparing home and school environments, techniques for developing positive behaviors, developing and evaluating sample behavior problems seen in classrooms.
