Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to inform students on the non-state actors, which play a role in international politics, on diplomacy and diplomatic tools, globalization and its effects, regional economic integration and international trade issues.

Course Content

The course informs students about state and non-state actors in international relations, international law and organizations and diplomacy and international political economy.

Learning Outcomes
1.To be able to comprehend the profession of diplomacy.
2.To be able to investigate the impact of economic issues over international politics as well as international security issues.
3.To be able to examine the impact on states and international organizations in order to analyze the IR.
4.To be able to study the impact of new formations occurring in the international system (integration, globalization, etc.) over the foreign policies of states.
5.To be able to have background knowledge to understand further department courses in a better way.
