This course aims to enable students to approach the concept of foreign policy within a theoretical and analytical framework; to equip them with knowledge and critical evaluation skills regarding key concepts, levels, factors, and decision-making processes in foreign policy analysis. It also aims to develop students' ability to analyze the formulation and implementation of foreign policy from a multidimensional perspective.
Introduction to the concept of foreign policy and foreign policy analysis; levels of analysis; foreign policy analysis in the context of international relations theories; international, national intangible and material factors affecting foreign policy; psychological environment, decision-making processes, and role of decision-makers; implementation of foreign policy, strategies, and tools.
