Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course is to examine the various state systems with unique aspects and to examine them in a comparative manner by keeping the factors that shape such systems in mind.

Course Content

In the course, the governmental systems of the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Federal Republic of Germany, the USSR, Russian Federation, the People's Republic of China, India, Japan, Argentina and Spain will be examined.

Learning Outcomes
1.To be able to comprehend the subject of constitutional states, the duties and powers of the legislative, executive and judicial organs, the effective political parties and election laws in detail.
2.To be able to make a comparative analysis of the political systems of beforementioned states, and will have the ability to query the reasons for the similarities and differences of them.
3.To be able to express their opinion about the affect of the political system on daily politics.
4.To be able to comprehend the development of contemporary political systems
5.Students will have information about the historical changes in the political systems of the states that constitute the subject of the course.
