Objectives of the Course

This course aims to equip students with the skills necessary for academic reading and writing processes; to develop their abilities to formulate research questions, conduct literature reviews, use various types of scientific writing, and work in accordance with academic ethical principles. It also aims to enhance students' competence in planning, conducting, and completing scientific research individually or as part of a group.

Course Content

The concept of scientific research and types of scientific writing; research ethics and methods to avoid plagiarism; formulating research questions and planning research; structural elements of academic writing and the IMRAD format; conducting literature review, collecting data, presenting findings, writing discussion and conclusion sections; applied research and writing practice through individual and group projects.
