Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to examine the historical, economic, and political dimensions of Türkiye-European Union relations.

Course Content

IIn the course that examines the multidimensional relations between Turkey and the European Union from a historical perspective; the fundamental documents of the Türkiye-EU partnership, the periods of partnership, the application for full membership and transition to the customs union, the candidacy and negotiation process, as well as current issues and problems such as migration, energy, and security in bilateral relations are discussed.
