Objectives of the Course

To ensure that students have knowledge and ideas about resolving conflicts by understanding the causes and related factors of international, regional and internal conflicts.

Course Content

Conflict theories, international security and international organizations, ethnic and national conflicts dynamics; the dynamics of dispute triggering, management and settlement, international role and effect of organizations, case study.

1.The student understands the relationship between the resolution of international and national conflicts and state interests.
2.The student understands the role of international organizations in conflict resolution.
3.The student becomes familiar with theoretical discussions on security.
4.To be able to analyse in depth international security problems and conflict resolution.
5.Applying conflict analysis techniques to international conflicts.
