This course aims to enable students to comprehend current developments in Turkish foreign policy, analyze Turkey’s new openings towards various regions and countries, and critically assess Turkish foreign policy from an international relations perspective. It also aims to improve students’ research, reporting, and presentation skills.
Basic concepts, institutions, and decision-makers in Turkish foreign policy; methods used in foreign policy analysis; Turkey’s new regional openings and current foreign policy issues; general evaluation of Turkish foreign policy in the light of contemporary developments and future perspectives; research and presentation projects.
